Achievements

Sri Snehasish Pathak, a teacher in the higher secondary section of our school, was awarded the ‘National Teachers' Award’ on 5 September 20011.
Her Excellency, Sri Prnab Mukherjee, the President of India, gave away the award in a special function organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India, which was held at Vijnan Bhavan, New Delhi .
Sri S. Pathak was honoured with a certificate, a silver medal, and a prize amount of Rs. 25,000.

Sri Chandrashekhar Chatterjee, a teacher in the junior section of our school, was awarded the ‘National Teachers' Award’ on 5 September 2007.
Her Excellency, Smt Pratibha Patil, the President of India, gave away the award in a special function organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India, which ws held at Vijnan Bhavan, New Delhi .
Sri C S Chatterjee was honoured with a certificate, a silver medal, and a prize amount of Rs. 25,000.

Sri Amal Kumar Maity, a teacher in the higher secondary section of our school, was awarded the ‘National Teachers' Award’ on 5 September 2006.
The President of India, gave away the award in a special function organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India, which was held at Vijnan Bhavan, New Delhi .





Achievements during the academic year 2014 - 2015

Academic Achievements
The sincere efforts of the staff and monks have been the sheet-anchor in the remarkable academic achievements of our students. This year we registered 100% pass results in class X and 96% pass in class XII CBSe examinations. In class X, six students got 9.6 out of 10 CGPA and in class XII Mst. Tai Gungtey was the highest scorer with 95.20%


In JEE (Mains) total 25 students appeared and most of them got selected for further counseling through Arunachal Pradesh state merit list. 13 out of 25 students got selected to appear in JEE (advanced). In Arunachal Entrance (APJEE [medical]) our students 6th & 9th position in the state merit list.


Sports & Games Achivements

  

We believe that health is the soul that animates all the activities of life. Therefore all the physical training programmes are taken in right earnest in our school. There are six playgrounds and a stadium. Students play Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and Cricket regularly. Carrom and Table Tennis are played as indoor games.

  

Inter block/house tournaments were held among the students in various games. In Higher Secondary section, Acharya Ramanuja block was the winner in football, volleyball and basketball and Acharya Vivekananda block in cricket In Secondary section, Chatrapati Shivaji house was the winner in football, Rana Pratap house in volleyball, basketball and cricket.

  

41st Annual athletic meet was held on 18th & 19th December 2015. Sri Jasmeet Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh inaugurate the meet and addressed the students. Mst. Ranlit Nokbi of class Vi Mst. Dongland Tangdong of class IX, Mst. Mowang Ngowa of class XII were judged champions in their respective groups.

Co-curricular Activities:
Our students participate in various cultural competitions like dramatics, elocution, music, singing, quiz, debates etc. Winners in these competitions are duly awarded.

To expose our students in different branches of knowledge specialists are invited to speak. The following dignitaries addressed our students on different topics.

Other Achivements
To imbibe the spirit of competition our students are encouraged to participate in various contests. In Mathematics Olympiad 3 students got 100 out of 100 and awarded Merit certificate and shield; 16 students were awarded Gold Medals.
